If you operate more than one business as a sole proprietor, Simple-C lets you manage them all from a single account.

Adding a business

  1. Go to Settings → Businesses
  2. Click “Add Business”
  3. Enter the business name and details
  4. Each business gets its own separate set of books

Switching between businesses

Use the business switcher in the top navigation to quickly switch between your businesses. Each business has its own:

  • Expense list
  • Bank connections
  • Reports
  • Schedule C export

Why separate businesses matter

The IRS requires a separate Schedule C for each business activity. Simple-C enforces this separation so your books are always compliant.
